What curriculum does Heirway follow?

Heirway Christian Academy uses text books from the leading Christian Curriculum Companies; Bob Jones Press for Language ranging from Phonics at the Kindergarten level through twelfth grade British Literature, Bob Jones for Secondary History and Science, ABEKA Press for Elementary Math and History, and  Saxon for Secondary Math.  These curriculum sources provide a challenging, top-quality college preparatory academic discipline for Heirway students.

Since we are a non-denominational Christian school we use the Bible as our text in most of our secondary Bible classes, and at the Elementary level we use Bible curriculum from the Association of Christian Schools International, an organization for Christian Schools of all denominations.

Overall these text sources are dedicated to providing quality education from a Christian perspective. They are unashamedly Christian and traditional in their approach to education, researching every subject and looking at the subject from God's point of view.  The most original source is always the Word of God, which is the only foundation for true scholarship in any area of human endeavor.  Our texts are built upon the firm foundation of Scriptural truth and are written by dedicated and talented Christian scholars who are well grounded in the practical aspects of teaching.
