PROMISES TEACHERS MAKE TO STUDENTS

1. I promise to respect your individuality, the unique way that
God made you.

2. I promise to strive to separate my personal circumstances from
school in order to give my best to you as a student.

3. I promise to encourage the development of the whole student,
spiritually, physically, academically, socially, and emotionally.

4. I promise to encourage a spirit of excellence, and to model my
expectations for your behavior.

5. I promise to listen to your point of view and to strive to create
a safe environment that nurtures learning.

Our secondary students have generated the following promises that they have made to each other and they plan to hold each other accountable:

STUDENT PROMISES

1. I promise to strive not to instigate, participate, or in any way
promote “Drama.”

2. I promise to strive to put the needs of others before my own.

3. I promise to try not to leave others out.

4. I promise to try to treat others, as I want to be treated,
respecting them and their property.

5. I promise to do all within my power to cause the school to be a
safe environment for learning.
