As of December 7, 2005, Heirway is fully accredited by Georgia Accrediting Commission (G.A.C.); therefore, Heirway Seniors receive HOPE scholarships, STAR Student Scholarships, Governors Honors Scholarships and full recognition of Georgia Board of Regents for admission to colleges and universities.
As a result of GAC Accreditation, Heirway has been accepted to membership in Georgia Independent Schools Association (G.I.S.A.). Beginning in fall of 2006 Heirway will participate in sports through GISA.
