For our Summer Reading Program:

1.   Students should keep a record of the book titles and number of pages that they read this

      summer.

2.   The minimum standard is listed below.  If children exceed the standard by doubling the required

      pages there will be prizes awarded when school starts in August.

K-5 going to 1^st grade - 150 pages

1^st grade going to 2nd grade - 300 pages

2^nd grade going to 3^rd grade - 300 pages

3^rd grade going to 4^th grade – 500 pages

4^th grade going to 5^th grade – 500 pages

5^th grade going to 6^th grade – 700 pages

Each student is required to read two books.  Students in the 7^th – 9^th grade should read the one listed below and another book of the student’s choice.  The book you choose should be on grade level and one that you have not read before.  The student’s in 7^th-12^th grade must bring both books and all of the assigned worksheets on the first day of school.
