Jarrod Clark joins the Heirway Christian Varsity Boy’s Basketball Staff. Jarrod has been coaching in the Metro Atlanta Area for about 7 years. Jarrod started off at Grace Christian Academy, coaching middle school boy’s basketball and was an assistant on the varsity boy’s basketball team. Jarrod then became the head varsity boy’s basketball coach at Colonial Hills Christian School. While at Colonial Hills, Coach Clark led the rams to the GICAA Final Four in his second season. Jarrod also was an assistant on the varsity girl’s basketball team for three years, helping them reach the state championship game in 2017 Colonial’s final year. Jarrod is also a basketball trainer in the Metro Atlanta area as well. Jarrod has hosted numerous camps and clinics in Metro Atlanta. He has hosted overseas basketball exposure clinics and has trained AAU basketball teams as well as college basketball teams. He has trained basketball players on all levels, from professional players down to elementary school kids. Jarrod graduated from Southern Polytechnic State University with a B.S. in Business Administration. While at Southern Poly, Jarrod also played on the Men’s Basketball team, where he holds the single-season shot block record at Southern Poly. Jarrod is a native of Jacksonville, Florida. Jarrod and his wife, Marpu, have two children, Josiah (3) and Lana (1).
